Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) Driver

Hours: 45 hours per week, working early starts between 2am-6am.

Pay: £18.22 per hour.

We are looking to recruit experienced qualified Class 1 HGV / LGV (C+E) drivers who will be based at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire. We offer a permanent full‑time position and have a variety of shift patterns available which usually includes at least one weekend day. We may also have some part‑time work available.

We offer an hourly pay rate of £18.22 and you will be guaranteed a certain number of hours of work per week. Overtime is regularly available. The majority of shifts start in the early hours of the morning (between 1am‑6am).

Shift patterns: 5 on 3 off shifts or any 5 out of 7 days working including weekends.

• Complete delivery drops to shops.
• Unload palletised goods from the vehicle using a powered pallet truck and taillift.
• Collect waste and other items from the shop to return to the depot.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks.
• Have a safe and efficient approach to driving.

• Full UK driving licence (with C+E entitlement).
• Minimum 6 months experience driving a class 1 vehicle.
• Digital tachograph and CPC card.
• No more than 6 points on your driving licence with no dangerous driving or drink‑related endorsements.
• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
