Connect Appointments is recruiting Driver's Mates for ongoing temporary work with an established delivery business based in Cumbernauld.

Our client operates a busy delivery operation, requiring reliable and customer-focused individuals to support drivers across a 5-days-out-of-7 working pattern.

What's on offer?

Ongoing temporary position
5 days out of 7 - 7am starts
£12.81 per hour - paid weekly
Overtime paid at £19.22 per hour

As a Driver's Mate, your duties will include:

Assisting with the delivery and transportation of goods to customer locations
Loading and unloading vehicles safely and efficiently
Providing a professional and courteous service directly to customers
Supporting the driver with navigation and paperwork as required

To be considered as a Driver's Mate, you will need:

A valid DBS/Disclosure certificate - essential
Good physical fitness due to the manual nature of the role
Strong communication skills and a professional, customer-facing manner
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
