Warehouse Operative

We are looking to recruit warehouse operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire. We offer a permanent full‑time position and have a variety of shift patterns available, working 5 days each week, including at least one weekend day. Part‑time work may also be available.

Pay is £13.69 per hour for day shifts (£10.90 if you are under 21) and £14.85 per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts (£12.35 if you are under 21). You will be guaranteed a minimum of 37.5 hours per week for full‑time positions, and overtime is regularly available if you wish to earn more.

• Day shift – From 09:00 to 17:00 (Full Time, Frozen Warehouse)
• Late shift – From 14:00 to 22:00 (Part Time, Ambient Warehouse)
• Night shift – From 22:00 to 06:00 (Part Time, Ambient Warehouse)

• Accurately and quickly pick stock onto pallets ready for delivery to shops.
• Keep accurate records.
• Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse.
• Work within the health and safety requirements of the site.
• Most warehouse operatives start with us picking orders; however, there may also be opportunities beyond this to work in goods‑in and loading operations.

• To be aged 18 or over to be eligible for this role (due to Health and Safety reasons).
• To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets.
• A friendly, positive, hard‑working approach to work.
• Although not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or with manual handling equipment, let us know about it in your application.
