Hours:

We are looking to recruit warehouse operatives who will be responsible for picking orders for our shops at our distribution centre in Cumbernauld, North Lanarkshire. We offer a permanent full time position and have a variety of shift patterns available working 5 days from 7 each week, including at least one weekend day. We may also have some part time work available.

• Day shift – From 06:00 to 14:00
• Day shift - From 10:00-18:00 in our Frozen Warehouse

• Pay rate: £13.69 per hour for day shifts (£10.90 if under 21) and £14.85 per hour for afternoon, late and night shifts (£12.35 if under 21).
• Guaranteed minimum of 37.5 hours per week for full time positions; overtime is regularly available.

• Accurately and quickly pick stock onto pallets ready for delivery to shops.
• Keep accurate records.
• Carry out general maintenance and cleaning of the warehouse.
• Work within the health and safety requirements of the site.
• Most warehouse operatives start with us picking orders; there may also be opportunities beyond this to work in our goods in and loading operations.

• To be aged 18 or over to be eligible for this role (due to Health and Safety reasons).
• To be physically fit as this is a demanding role and you will be expected to achieve productivity targets.
• A friendly, positive, hard working approach to work.
• Although it is not essential, if you have experience of working in a warehouse environment or experience working with manual handling equipment then let us know about it in your application.
