Warehouse Operative – Cumbernauld – William Wilson

Working Hours:

Full Time permanent, 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday 08:00am – 05:00pm.

Responsibilities
  • Complete general warehouse duties in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Serve customers at trade counter and handle collection requests as required by the Warehouse Supervisor / Manager.
  • Ensure all incoming deliveries comply with paperwork, handle discrepancies appropriately and put away in a timely manner according to procedures.
  • Pick and pack items to fulfil customer orders and prepare for dispatch, including manual handling of heavy items (e.g., boilers, sinks, radiators, toilets).
  • Liaise with drivers to load vehicles effectively and in accordance with run sheet.
  • Check picked orders prior to collection or dispatch.
  • Comply with company and depot policies, particularly Health and Safety guidelines.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience in a busy warehouse environment.
  • Willingness to adjust to changing demands.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn, including completion of required training (forklift licence training will be provided).
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work as part of a team.
