Warehouse Operative

WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE - CUMBERNAULD

People Solutions are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives - Cumbernauld to support several of our well-established clients based throughout the Cumbernauld area.

With a number of our clients approaching their busy periods, we are looking to build a reliable pool of Warehouse Operatives for a mixture of ongoing, regular and ad hoc warehouse work, with a range of weekday and weekend shift patterns available.

This role would suit candidates with experience as a Warehouse Operative, Picker Packer, Warehouse Worker, Loader, Unloader, General Operative or Distribution Operative.

We currently have several shift patterns available across our Cumbernauld clients, including:

• Ad hoc warehouse shifts - typically 07:00 to 17:00 or 08:00 to 17:00
• Tuesday to Friday - 08:00 to 17:00
• Saturday - 06:00 to 14:00
• Candidates applying for the Tuesday to Saturday position must be available for the full shift pattern, as the client requires the same worker throughout the week
• Additional shifts may become available as clients move into their busy periods

• £12.71 per hour
• Weekly pay

As a Warehouse Operative, you will receive:

As a Warehouse Operative, your duties may include:

• Loading and unloading goods
• Picking and packing orders
• Moving stock safely around the warehouse
• Preparing goods for dispatch
• Unloading containers where required
• Checking and organising stock
• Carrying out general manual handling
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and organised
• Following all site and health and safety procedures
• Completing other general warehouse duties as required

• Previous warehouse experience is desirable
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable with manual handling and physically active work
• Able to work effectively within busy warehouse environments
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Flexible approach to shifts and client requirements
• Ability to reliably travel to different sites within the Cumbernauld area for early start times

Due to the location of our clients and some early start times, candidates who live locally within the Cumbernauld area or have their own transport would be particularly suited to these opportunities.
