We are currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Counterbalance Forklift Driver / Warehouse Operator to join our busy team in Cumbernauld. This position starts on a temporary basis , with a genuine opportunity to secure a permanent contract based on performance, attendance, and team fit. It is a key dual role within our warehouse operation, combining forklift driving with day-to-day warehouse duties.
Key Responsibilities- Operating the Counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently to load, unload, and move stock around the warehouse.
- Managing goods in/out, including checking deliveries against paperwork and reporting discrepancies.
- Stacking, racking, and picking orders accurately for dispatch.
- Assisting with general warehouse duties, manual handling, and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.
- Supporting periodic stock checks and inventory audits.
- Certification:
Valid, accredited Counterbalance Forklift license (RTITB, ITSSAR, or equivalent). - Experience:
Proven experience operating a Counterbalance truck in a fast-paced warehouse environment. - Work Ethic:
