Project Manager, Program ​/ Project Manager, Operations Manager

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading Tier 1 contractor delivering a portfolio of DFE (Department for Education) projects across the lake District. this is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-profile education schemes from pre-construction through to handover, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record managing construction projects within the education, public sector, or commercial sectors, with strong leadership and client facing skills. You will be responsible for overseeing site teams, programme management, subcontractor coordination, and maintaining high standards of health and safety and quality throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Project Manager within the construction industry
Experience delivering education or public sector projects preferred
Strong organisational and communication skills
Ability to manage programmes,budgets, and stakeholder relationships
SMSTS, CSCS & First Aid qualified
