Dobies Cumbria Motors Ltd are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Customer Service Specialist Apprentice to join their team for an immediate start!

As part of the team, you will play an important role in delivering an excellent customer experience and ensuring our customers receive a friendly, professional and high level of service at every stage of their journey.

You’ll learn how to understand our customers’ needs, handle a range of enquiries, resolve problems and deal with more complex queries. You will also develop an understanding of how customer feedback can help us continually improve the service we provide.

At Dobies Cumbria Motors, you’ll gain valuable hands‑on experience while developing your knowledge and skills through your apprenticeship. You will learn about our business, our customers and the importance of delivering consistently exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities
  • Welcoming and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
  • Dealing with customer enquiries by telephone, email and face-to-face
  • Understanding customer needs and providing appropriate support and advice
  • Supporting customers throughout their journey with Dobies Cumbria Motors
  • Handling customer queries and resolving problems wherever possible
  • Escalating more complex queries to the appropriate colleague when required
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date customer information
  • Listening to and responding positively to customer feedback
  • Supporting the team in delivering a consistently high level of customer service
  • Working closely with colleagues to ensure customers receive a positive experience
  • Identifying opportunities to improve our customer service and ways of working
  • Developing an understanding of our products, services and business objectives
  • Supporting the team in monitoring customer service performance
  • Ensuring all customers are treated fairly, respectfully and equally

Working hours

4 days through the week and Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm
