Teaching Assistant – EYFS

Humly is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join a primary school on a full-term basis.

This is a full-time role starting 23rd February 2026 and continuing until 24th July 2026. This position would suit a reliable and proactive teaching assistant who is confident supporting pupils across the classroom and contributing positively to day-to-day school life.

What You’ll Be Doing

* Support teaching and learning activities across the EYFS classroom

* Assist with planning and preparation of classroom resources

* Promote positive behaviour and engagement among pupils

* Deliver intervention activities as directed by the class teacher

* Supervise pupils during lunch, break, and other school activities

* Monitor and record pupil progress, reporting to teaching staff as needed

What You’ll Bring

* Previous experience as a teaching assistant in a primary or EYFS setting

* Strong understanding of child development and early years pedagogy

* Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

* Patience, reliability, and a proactive attitude

* Enhanced DBS or willingness to obtain one

Pay
£13.70 – £14.95 per hour
