SQL Solaris DBA - MUST HAVE MOD SC CLEARANCE - Barrow in Furness, Cumbria - 3 months+/RATE: £481 per day + expenses (inside IR35)

One of our Blue Chip Clients is urgently looking for a SQL Solaris DBA.

Please find some details below:

Contractor MUST BE MOD SC CLEARED (active) AND BE A SOLE UK NATIONAL (only UK nationality).

The MOD SC must have been actively used within the last 12 months.

The candidate must have 3 months left on their SC clearance to allow time for interview, offer and transfer of clearance.

MUST BE PAYE THROUGH UMBRELLA.

MUST HAVE: deep expertise in SQL and Solaris.

Database administrator role potentially includes Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, and Postgres to work on security clients. Preference for candidates with experience in all; not essential. Duties cover Business as Usual and some project work; early versions of technologies also advantageous.

• Be responsible for the completion of assigned works within allocated time frames.
• Undertake Project Tasks, supporting both internal and external Project Managers.
• Possess exceptional customer handling skills.

• Minimum of three years' experience in Database administration, in any of the listed technologies.
• Able to work alone and in a team.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (required for documentation).
• Able to travel to other parts of the UK when requested.
• Preferably Oracle or Microsoft certified.
