Main Responsibilities Working safely at all times CNC Turning, working on a variety of materials including stainless steel, aluminium and various plastics, producing high quality work to tight tolerances in a commercial time Reading and interpreting engineering drawings Programming and operating Mazak machine Checking/inspecting own work Keeping area clean and tidy and carrying out maintenance routines on equipment Working on own initiative with minimal supervision Personal Qualities Enthusiasm for engineering and a determination to learn Self-starter and motivated person with good time keeping Ability to get on with colleagues and receive instructions Commitment to upholding high health and safety standards Responsibility, reliability and dedication Self-disciplined and conscientious approach Great attention to detail Hard working and ambitious Excellent communication skills with the ability to use your own initiative and a strong drive to succeed Experience Required Must be time served
