Senior Bookkeeping Accountant (JN- – Goodwin Recruiting

Our client is a well-established remote accounting firm specializing in daily bookkeeping and financial management for multi‑unit businesses.

• Perform daily client bookkeeping tasks, including A/R, A/P, sales, cash receipts, and disbursements.
• Complete month‑end closing, reporting, and processing for clients.
• Reconcile monthly bank, credit card, and vendor statements.
• Manage and reconcile balance sheet accounts, including petty cash, payroll liabilities, and loans.
• Process and post client payroll accurately and on schedule.
• Prepare financial reports, conduct analysis, and provide recommendations to clients.

• 5+ years of full‑cycle bookkeeping and accounting experience.
• Strong Quick Books Online and Excel skills required.
• Experience with multi‑client or multi‑unit accounting environments.
• Previous accounting support for trades industries in a multi‑client environment (plumbing, electrical, construction, landscaping, etc.).
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
• Strong tenure is required; 2+ years per role preferred.
• End‑to‑end transactional bookkeeping, plus strong financial reporting and analysis abilities.
• Familiarity with billable hours and time‑tracking for clients.
• AI and technology proficiency: regular use of AI‑enabled tools to enhance productivity and support decision‑making.
