Tax Preparer
We are seeking a detail‑oriented Tax Preparer to join our team, specializing in preparing tax returns for small businesses and individuals. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing financial records, identifying potential tax deductions and credits, and ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations.
Must have experience with Drake Tax Software.
Responsibilities:- Prepare and file accurate federal, state, and local tax returns for small businesses and individual clients.
- Conduct thorough reviews of financial documents to ensure compliance with tax laws.
- Identify potential tax deductions, credits, and strategies for tax savings.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary information and answer tax‑related inquiries.
- Stay updated on the latest tax regulations and changes to maximize accuracy and efficiency.
- Proven experience as a tax preparer, ideally with a focus on small businesses and individual tax returns.
- Strong understanding of federal, state, and local tax laws.
- Proficiency in tax preparation software and accounting tools.
- Excellent attention to detail, analytical skills, and client service orientation.
$25.00/hr - $30.00/hr
