Position description

Job Summary
The University of North Georgia (UNG) is currently accepting applications for the position of Lecturer of Political Science in the Department of Political Science & International Affairs (PSIA). The successful candidate will teach on multiple campuses with the focus being Dahlonega, Cumming, and potentially the Inspire satellite campus.

Responsibilities
- Teaching 15 hours per semester (5/5; undergraduate) including core classes for the department.
- The successful candidate will teach American Government and other lower division and possibly an upper division course depending upon departmental needs.
Required Qualifications
The successful candidate must have a Master's in political science or a related field, Ph.D. preferred. Must have a successful teaching background especially with American Government as evidenced by teaching evaluations, syllabi, or other supporting documentation.
