Water Safety Instructor

Welcome to Aqua-Tots!

We are saving lives by teaching children all over the world how to become safe and confident swimmers for life. We are year‑round and use indoor heated 90‑degree pools! If you’re a motivated and passionate individual that truly wants to make a difference in children’s lives every day – we would be honored to have you join us on this journey!

We have part‑time and full‑time positions available!

• Ability to routinely lift more than 20 lbs

• CPR certification successfully completed within 60 days of hire
• Successfully complete Aqua‑Tots in‑water Swim Instructor training

• Teach Aqua‑Tots curriculum to kids age 4 months — 12 years old

• We are willing to train anyone! The only thing required is an eagerness to learn, a friendly demeanor and an enjoyment/love for children
• Provide instructive feedback to parents and children
• Recognize and understand progression and level of swimming ability
• On‑going training and growth through teaching assessments
• Fill out and file Aqua‑Cards
• Clean and maintain pool areas before and after each shift
• Attend staff meetings and regular in‑service training

• Sales / Admin / Office experience
• Babysitting / Nannying experience
• Teaching / Tutoring experience
• Previous lifeguarding / swim experience
• Participated in a team sport
