The Overnight Receiving Supervisor is responsible for directing and overseeing the warehouse operations of each retail store. In addition, the Overnight Receiving Supervisor supervises warehouse specialists, order pickers, and forklift operators; managing the daily freight schedule based on customer and inventory needs.

• 1-3 years of previous supervisory experience (preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment)
• Excellent interpersonal, team building, delegating, and follow-up skills
• Ability to work with and maintain effective relationships with other departments
• Effective communication skills (oral and written)
• Competent in performing basic mathematical calculations
• Strong computer skills, with the ability to work in Windows-based systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Available to work extended hours, especially during peak seasons

• Schedule warehouse personnel daily to ensure proper staffing for shipping and receiving
• Direct daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, maintenance, and inventory control
• Manage warehouse operations related to Storage Buy transactions, receiving errors, and staging
• Maintain warehouse equipment with preventive maintenance and communicate repairs
• Implement warehouse safety programs to ensure a safe and clean workplace compliant with OSHA and local regulations
• Train associates and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures
• Handle disciplinary actions and employee inquiries
• Coordinate with other departments for efficient operations
• Complete activity reports for management
• Monitor paperwork flow from Receiving to Inventory Control
• Resolve discrepancies in shipping, invoices, and reports
• Execute the Storage Buy Audit COP
• Ensure products are staged, stored properly, and inventories rotated
• Perform other duties as directed by management

Frequent exposure to warehouse environment and moving vehicles. Noise levels are moderate to noisy.

Ability to exert 30-60 pounds occasionally, 20-30 pounds frequently, and up to 20 pounds constantly. Requires handling, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and stooping.
