Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week Med/Surg inpatient oncology night shift position in Georgia requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience.

• Work in an inpatient oncology unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Med/Surg nursing care for oncology patients
• 12-hour night shifts from 7pm to 7am, three shifts per week
• 13-week contract assignment
• No on-call responsibilities
• Must work at least one major holiday (Christmas Day or New Year's Day) and one minor holiday (Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve) during assignment
• RTO (requests for time off) must be submitted upfront and will not be accepted after offer
• Dress code and scrub color will be confirmed prior to start
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position

• Active GA or compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years Med/Surg experience within oncology or related specialty
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certification required
• No local candidates within a 50-mile radius eligible
• Returning staff who were perm employees must have a 2 year break before returning as travelers
