American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit position requiring recent step-down or intermediate care experience and ACLS/NIH certification.
Requirements- Active RN license (Georgia or Compact) currently in hand
- Current certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) - Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in progressive care, step-down, or intermediate care required
- Work in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) of a hospital setting
- 12-hour day shifts, 3 shifts per week, schedule varies between 7A-730P
- 13-week assignment length
- No on-call responsibilities
- Provide nursing care to patients in a step-down or intermediate care setting
- Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered
- Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before applying as a non-local traveler
- RTO requests must be submitted upfront and cannot be requested after an offer is made
