Kennel Assistant; Seasonal

Animal Medical Center of Cumming is hiring a seasonal kennel assistant. We are looking for hard working, confident, and enthusiastic people to join our team. We are a veterinary hospital with a large boarding/kennel facility. We provide boarding, playtimes and daycare services.

• Walking dogs
• Ability to oversee multiple dogs in an outside setting for play times.
• Providing fresh food and water.
• Cleaning animal waste, spilled food and other debris from kennel.
• Checking dogs/cats in for boarding, playtime, and daycare.
• Taking animals to and from the kennel.
• Bathing
• Be able to read body language and/or signs of aggression.
• Ensuring safety of everyone.
• Assisting other hospital staff.
• Clean, fold, and stock kennel laundry throughout the clinic.
• Confident in handling animals.

Base pay: $12.00/hr - $14.00/hr
