Door Technician

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Door Technician located in Cumming, GA. The Door Technician will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various types of commercial doors, including automatic and manual. Duties include performing inspections, installing new door systems, replacing parts, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and ensuring proper functionality of all door systems while adhering to safety standards.

Interaction with customers to provide excellent service and on-time completion of projects is also a key part of this role.

• Experience with door repair, maintenance, and installation, including knowledge of automatic, manual, and overhead doors.
• Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills for resolving operational issues.
• Ability to use tools and equipment required for door servicing and installation safely and efficiently.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with customers and providing updates on project status.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for traveling to job sites.
• Capability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Prior experience in a construction-related trade or technical training is a plus.
• Commitment to safety standards and compliance with applicable codes and regulations.
