The Lead Technicianisanexperiencedfieldtechnicianwhocompletesjobsaccordingto SPGlobalDRTprocessesandprovideshands-ondirectiontotechniciansonthejobsite.
Inadditiontoperformingproductionwork,theLeadTechnicianhelpsestablishefficientjobflow,ensuresqualityandsafetystandardsaremet,andservesasapointofguidanceforthecrew.
Drivingcompanyvehiclestoandbetweenjobsitesisanessential,regularpartofthisrole.
- CompletejobsaccordingtoSPGlobalDRTprocessesperworkorder,performingandguidingproductionwork.
- Drivecompanyvehiclestoandbetweenjobsitessafelyandasanessential,regularfunctionofthisrole.
- Transportcrew,tools,equipment,andmaterialstojobsitesandensurevehiclesareproperlyloadedandsecured.
- Performandevaluatemitigation/restorationactivitiesincludingwaterextraction,structural drying,set-upofspecialtyequipment,anddemolition.
- Establishefficientjobflow,setupstagingareasandequipment,andcoordinatetherequirementsforeachjob.
- Provide hands-ondirectionandreal-timefeedbacktotechniciansonthejobsite.
- Ensurecrewsfollowprocessesandcompleteallworkpertheworkorderandscope.
- Identifysafetyhazards,communicate them,andfollowandenforceallsafetyproceduresonthejobsite.
- Completeandreviewaccuratejobfiledocumentation,includingphotosandrequiredreadings.
- Communicateprofessionallywithcustomers,supervisors,andothertechnicianstomaintainefficientproduction.
- Perform end-of-dayandend-of-jobcleanupandbreakdown,leavingthejobsitecleanandorderly.
- Resolveproblemsquicklyastheyariseandescalateconcernstothesupervisorasneeded.
- Protect,properlyuse,andmaintainequipment,tools,and vehicles,includingroutinevehiclechecks.
- Cleanandmaintainvehicles,equipment,warehouse,andofficeareas.
- Supportthedevelopmentoftechniciansbydemonstratingbestpracticesandsharingknowledge.
- Highschooldiploma/GED required.
- Priorfire/water/moldrestorationormitigationfieldexperiencepreferred.
- IICRCcertificationspreferred.
- Avaliddriver'slicense,acleandrivingrecord,andapprovalbyourinsurancecompanyarerequired,asdrivingisanessentialfunctionofthisposition.
- Abilityandwillingnesstodrivetojobsitesdailyandtravellocallyoroutofstatewhennecessary.
- Abilitytolead,direct,andprovideconstructivefeedbacktoacrewonthejobsite.
- Effectivewrittenandoralcommunicationskills.
- Docusketchexperiencepreferred.
- Strong organizational,time-management,and problem-solving skills.
- Mustbeabletoworkinpersonanddrivetojobsitesasneeded.
Availableforweekendandafter-hourson-call rotation. - Mustbeauthorizedtoworklawfullyinthe United Statesandabletosuccessfullycompleteabackgroundchecksubjecttoapplicablelaw .
- Frequentdrivingtoandbetweenjobsitesisanessentialfunctionofthisrole.
- Abilitytoregularlylift

100poundswithassistance. - Repetitive pushing,pulling,lifting,andcarryingofobjectsthroughouttheday.
- Walkingandstandingforlongperiods,aswellassittingandclimbing.
- Abilitytoclimbladdersandworkatceilingheights.
- Abilitytoworkintightspaces(e.g.,crawlspacesunderbuildingsandattics).
- Exposuretochemicals,fumes,airborne particles,andloudnoise.
- Occasionalexposuretoextremeconditionssuchasheat,cold,andnoxiousodors.
- Requiredtooccasionallyweararespiratorandotherpersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE).
- Physicalstaminaandmanualdexteritytoperformdemandingtasksthroughouttheday.
- Full-Time,upto
40hoursperweek. - On-Call
$18-$22/hour,pending experience.
