CV Screen is delighted to be recruiting an experienced Bookkeeper on behalf of a well-established accountancy practice in Glenrothes, Fife. Offering a salary of £28,000 plus benefits, this office-based role is a fantastic opportunity to join a friendly, client-focused firm that supports local businesses and individuals with accounts, tax, VAT, payroll and bookkeeping. You’ll look after a varied portfolio of clients, keeping their records accurate and up to date, within a firm that values personal service and invests in training its team.

- Carrying out bank and nominal ledger reconciliations promptly and accurately
- Supporting a portfolio of clients with their day-to-day bookkeeping
- Preparing VAT returns for clients
- Producing accounting records to at least trial balance level
- At least two years’ bookkeeping experience; accountancy practice experience is an advantage but not essential
- A sound grasp of accounting principles, plus confidence using accounting software and MS Office
- Excellent attention to detail, strong organisation and good communication skills
£28,000 per annum plus benefits. Full details of the benefits package will be shared at interview stage.
LocationGlenrothes, Fife. This is an office-based role, within easy commuting distance of Kirkcaldy, Leslie, Markinch, Leven, Cupar, Cardenden and Lochgelly.
