Finishing Operative

JDR are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established client based in Cupar, who are looking to add an Operative to their growing Finishing team.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity offering an hourly rate of £12.71, with long‑term prospects for the right candidate.

• Removing burrs, sharp edges, and imperfections from metal components
• Using hand tools, grinders, and other equipment to finish parts to specification
• Inspecting finished components for quality and accuracy
• Working closely with the production team to meet daily targets

• Previous experience in a similar role or within a manufacturing/engineering environment
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive and reliable approach to work

• £12.71 per hour
• Temporary to permanent contract
• Full‑time hours, day shift only
