Apple is where individual imaginations gather together, contributing to the values that lead to phenomenal work. Every new product we build, service we invent, or Apple Store experience we deliver is the result of us making each other’s ideas stronger. That happens because every one of us shares a belief that we can make something wonderful and share it with the world, changing lives for the better.
It’s the diversity of our people and their thinking that encourages the innovation that runs through everything we do. When we bring everybody in, we can do the best work of our lives. Here, you’ll do more than join something — you’ll add something! Apple is seeking a Materials Engineer to join Panel Process and Optics (PPO) Engineering team. Our Materials Engineer is responsible for developing new materials and supporting processes that enable innovative manufacturing technologies to tackle sophisticated design challenges that have a direct impact to future product, quality and delivery of Apple Displays and Touch technology.
The individual in this role will serve as a focal point in the material development/selection/process development of sophisticated key process modules from the concept/architecture stage through product engineering validation builds. We work at a fast pace and require everyone to be highly self-motivated. A successful candidate needs to be a flexible thinker and be able to problem-solve outside of their respective technical area.
