Overview
The Camera Hardware Engineering group is responsible for the design, development, testing, and innovation of camera hardware for all related Client products. Our target is to deliver superior camera hardware to enable a best-in-class camera user experience.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, high-energy individual who can help us with tomorrow’s challenges.
PositionJob Title:
Electrical Validation Engineer - Camera Hardware
Duration: 12-month contract on W2
Responsibilities- Evaluate new camera technology robustness to RF noise.
- Build up and own RF susceptibility characterization methodology and SOP.
- Define electromagnetic validation plan and test cases for the camera sub-system, modules and components.
- Conduct EM characterization, measure thresholds for failure modes, analyze image data, and provide feedback to the design team for design improvements.
- Interact with cross-functional teams for in-system integration and performance test (e.g., de-sense, co-existence) failure analysis and solution implementation.
- 2+ years relevant experience.
- Familiarity with embedded systems and related RF/coexistence challenges.
- Great EE fundamentals and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable with EE test equipment (oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, signal generator, etc.).
- Experience with scripting languages, Python or Matlab, for instrumentation automation and data collection/analysis.
- Knowledge of high-speed interfaces (MIPI, LVDS, Display Port), power supplies (Linear & switching), and their relationships to de-sense / co-existence.
- Capable of managing multiple projects in parallel.
- Good teamwork and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of image sensors and camera module hardware
- Cellular/Wireless awareness: 5G, LTE, BT, WiFi, UWB, NFC, etc.
- Knowledge of CST or Ansys EM simulation tools
- Proficient user of AutoCAD & Cadence
BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or industrial experience equivalent.
