Operations Program Specialist

Upgrade to the Operations Program Specialist role at OSI Engineering, Inc., a globally leading consumer device company headquartered in Cupertino, CA. This contract position focuses on supporting product development from early concept (Cx1) through ramp.

Type: Contract
Duration: 12 months with extension
Work Location: Cupertino, CA (100% on site)
Pay range: $35.00 – $49.00 (DOE)

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain organization and tracking of samples throughout the development lifecycle, from Cx1 through Ramp.
  • Support lab dip and finished goods (FG) approvals, including CYS / CSS activities and any SRB-related processes.
  • Partner with Color MQE to prepare and manage samples for  (Industrial Design) reviews.
  • Manage and maintain a physical library of limit samples, ensuring accessibility and traceability.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all sample-related data and documentation.
  • Support shipping and receiving of samples, including proper labeling and tracking.
  • Conduct and support sample measurements, including color, gloss, and texture evaluations.
Required Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in sample management, color development, materials development, quality engineering, or a related product development environment.
  • Experience working with physical samples in a lab, design, or manufacturing setting.
  • Familiarity with color measurement tools and evaluation processes (e.g., color, gloss, texture).
  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple samples and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Industrial Design or Color/Materials teams.
  • Knowledge of product development ramp processes.
  • Experience with sample tracking systems or PLM tools.
