Build the backbone of Generative AI cloud ign, deliver, and operate AWS cloud offerings that enable high performance and scalability for AI/ML and HPC workloads. Deliver continuous price performance improvements for AI model training of multi‑billion variable LLMs.

• Own and lead the design, development, and root cause analysis of a new segment of accelerated servers.
• Work closely with customers to understand technical needs and business goals, leveraging server‑design experience to architect solutions at scale.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of component, firmware, test, qualification, and integration engineers to develop and manufacture the servers.
• Oversee the fleet of servers after launch, monitoring quality and ensuring they meet customer requirements.
• Interface with internal and external customers to understand project requirements and facilitate system development on top of server designs.
• Learn and address operational challenges of the existing fleet and develop improved systems for future designs.
• Work directly with vendors and ODM/JDM design teams to scale manufacturing of the product.

• Experience developing functional specifications, design verification plans, and functional test procedures.
• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production.
• Experience in server technologies such as thermal, mechanical, power, and signal integrity.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
• Experience with project management of technical projects.
• Experience in compute and storage server architecture and design for large‑scale applications.
• 10 years of hardware development focused on system/server development in compute and/or storage server architecture.

Base pay ranges from $143,300/year in the lowest geographic market to $257,300/year in the highest. Pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, along with medical, financial, and other benefits.
