Salary $95.23 / hour FEA Engineer
Job Description:
• Experience in running non-linear static and dynamic Finite Element Analysis using Abaqus, Ansys, or equivalent CAE packages. Abaqus is strongly preferred.
• Expertise in structural, thermomechanical, and heat transfer modeling
• Additional expertise in fracture mechanics, adhesive materials, electromagnetic, acoustic, and CFD is preferred
• Experience in modeling of different classes of materials including polymers, elastomers, soft adhesives, and brittle materials
• Experience with calibration, verification, and validation of models through physical testing
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to interact with multi-functional teams, management, and external vendors
• Proficiency in Matlab, Python, and Abaqus User Subroutines is a plus
• Experience with using CAD tools such as NX, Solid-works is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in FEA in large-volume consumer electronic industry.
