Our client, a well-funded Silicon Valley EDA startup led by founders with multiple successful exits, is seeking a Signal Integrity / Power Integrity Innovation Engineer to join its founding technical team. This opportunity is ideal for a hands‑on SI/PI expert who thrives in fast‑paced, creative environments and wants to shape the next generation of electrical verification tools.
What You’llWorkOn:- Conductindependentresearch,exploration,andprototypingofnewapproachestoelectricalanalysis,debugging,verification,and optimization
- DeveloptoolsandmethodologiesforelectricalverificationofIC,3
DIC,PCB,andothercomplexelectronicsystems - Combineinternaltooldevelopment,open‑source tools,andcommercialplatformsintonewsolutions
- Collaboratewiththeinternalsoftwaredevelopmentteamandhelpsetitstechnicaldirection
- DebugSI,PI,EM,andlayoutparasiticproblems
- Workcloselywithcustomersandpartnerstoevangelizethecompany’stoolsanddrivethedevelopmentfeedbackloop
- Support product,applications,andcustomerengagementefforts

- SI/PItoolssuchasSPICE,S-parameter analysis,Ansys,Cadence,Keysight,orsimilarsimulationandmeasurementplatforms,includingscriptingandautomation
- ICparasiticextraction
- IC,package,3
DIC,andPCBdesignflowandmethodology - Debugging SI,PI,EM,andlayoutparasiticissues
- Scriptingandsoftwaredevelopment(Python,C++,etc.)
- Effectivecommunicationskills
- Willingnessandabilitytosupportproduct,applications,andcustomerwork
- Astartupmindset:someonewhoprefersspeed,autonomy,anddirectcustomeraccessoverthebureaucracyandsilosoflargeorganizations
- Drivetoexploreunconventional,potentiallyrevolutionaryapproachestoelectricalanalysis
- Early,high-impactseatatawell-funded stealthstartup

Competitive base salary of up to $250K plus an equity package.
