DescriptionThe Financial Analyst will be an integral part of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team within the Services and Infrastructure Finance organization and work on various financial tasks related to tracking, analysis, developing scalable financial models, reporting of key financial and business information, streamlining reporting processes and enabling data‑driven decision-making through innovative automation and analytical solutions.
Partners with other Finance teams, including Apple Media Products (App Store, Music, Card, iCloud, etc.), Search Ads, and AI/ML, among others, to identify, analyze and solve challenging strategic and operational issues to improve both top and bottom line. Looking for a motivated individual with strong analytical capabilities, superior financial / quantitative horsepower, and a deep interest in Apple's services, products, business and strategy to help achieve our financial and business objectives.
This position will also handle extremely confidential information and carry a very high level of responsibility and exposure.
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, accounting or another quantitative field
- 5+ years of experience in a finance, pricing, or analytics environment
- Strong business acumen, with high intellectual curiosity and deep interest in Apple's products, services, technology, business, and strategy
- Ability to work with high level of ambiguity and complexity
- Team player / interpersonal savvy who works across teams to solve complex issues and strives for excellence
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and confidence to present findings in a simplistic manner
- Passion for automating and improving processes and systems
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Experience in Tableau, Essbase, SAP, SQL or Oracle a plus
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $137,900 and $207,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
