Here on the Apple Store Online team, we are responsible for Apple’s largest store. Our main goal is to deliver a magical, personal digital experience where customers can shop, buy and learn everything Apple, wherever they are. Each customer should feel like they are our only customer and our job is to set the bar for the experience they receive. As the Personalization Experience Strategist, you will lead short- and long-term strategic initiatives at unprecedented scale, that help us realize the Apple Store Online’s overall vision. You’ll be responsible for driving our WW recommendations programs forward, ensuring we increasingly tailor our shopping experience to each individual’s unique profile and needs, while maintaining our core privacy values. As part of our Digital Experience Innovation team you’ll identify top customer and business priorities and then develop strategies to innovate, elevate, and expand our global online store, as we aim to create best-in-class experiences that set the bar in e-commerce.

Description

You will lead one of our most significant strategic focus areas, significantly expanding our personalization programs, in order to drive commercial growth and customer satisfaction. You’ll aim to surprise and delight our shoppers, instill greater decision support, streamline customers’ end-to-end journey, by making our online experiences feel more relevant, contextual, and seamless. You’ll play a pivot role in shaping the future of the Apple Store Online by immersing yourself in the global customer experience, analyzing quantitative and qualitative insights, anticipating future tech and consumer trends, and ideating innovative solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the planning, growth, and management for all personalized recommendations programs, ideating and driving opportunities for experimentation and expansion across products, countries, and touch points.
  • Regularly monitor performance, assess measurable impact, and present reporting updates to senior leadership, along with areas for optimization.
  • Deeply study and immerse in future customer, technology, and industry personalization trends, in order to develop a vision and strategy with an original point of view on innovative opportunities and initiatives to prioritize.
  • Analyze shopper behavior and internal performance to identify data-driven insights, synthesize conclusions into actionable recommendations, and build multi-year business cases.
  • Define and evolve end-to-end customer journeys, including how customers navigate, learn, shop, configure, and purchase products from , the Apple Store App, and other digital commerce platforms.
  • Author detailed strategic briefs for cross-functional partners, clearly outlining business priorities, opportunities, and performance through tailored storytelling.
  • Provide feedback on new solutions and designs in large cross-functional forums with a deep focus on customer experience and business priorities.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 5 or more years of full time work experience, with at least 3 years in a strategic e-commerce, personalization, and/or customer experience role.
  • A track record of driving significant strategic innovation that successfully addresses clear business objectives and/or drive impactful results.
  • Demonstrated analytical, measurement, or reporting experience, including, but not limited to uncovering insights and root causes to identify clear takeaways and make data-driven decisions.
