Position:
Experienced Apple Care Last Time Buy (LTB) Planner

This role is responsible for the long-term forecasting and planning of components and service parts. The LTB Planner manages the LTB planning function within the demand planning organization to ensure service parts are available in the right quantities for Apple customers. The role requires collaboration with procurement, engineering, and materials planning teams to develop consensus on LTB proposals.

A successful candidate will be results-driven, possess strong analytical skills, have a keen business sense, and be capable of collaborating cross-functionally to resolve supply chain issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate accurate long-term forecasts for service parts and components.
  • Develop LTB strategies and recommendations aligned with Apple Care service strategy.
  • Perform detailed demand and inventory analysis to identify drivers of excess inventory and lead corrective actions with cross-functional teams.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce LTB spend through cost-benefit analysis.
  • Lead LTB review meetings regularly with senior leadership.
  • Conduct repair yield and component failure analysis using historical data and trends.
  • Monitor actual consumption against forecasts, and communicate excess or shortage issues to leadership.
  • Design and implement system solutions to automate, standardize, and improve planning processes.
  • Operate effectively within a complex business environment, coordinating with multiple internal and external groups.
