As a Security Officer Driver Patrol Alarm Panel Support in Cupertino, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to alarms, and provide outstanding customer service. This driving position offers the opportunity to use communication and technology skills while supporting a welcoming environment.

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a retail property.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of retail common areas, parking facilities, loading areas, business perimeters, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site procedures and contacting appropriate personnel or emergency responders as needed.
• Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle activity to help support authorized access and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with property management, Allied Universal leadership, and relevant site personnel regarding incidents and daily activities.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
