Full Stack Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for an extraordinary software engineer to join our worldwide business development and strategy team. This is an opportunity to join a fast‑paced team that plays a key role in the overall success of our organization through technology enablement. You’ll play a critical part in driving our technology vision forward and ensuring that we execute across multiple initiatives.

• At least 7 years of experience, preferably working as part of a team
• Experience with deploying containerized services to cloud computing platforms like AWS or Google Cloud
• Familiarity with relational database systems like Postgre
  
  SQL or MySQL
• Proven track record of designing, building, delivering, and maintaining critical web‑based software
• You love working in a fast‑paced and dynamic environment
• Extremely organized, detail‑oriented, and thorough in every undertaking
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

This is a senior full‑stack software engineering role. You’ll work closely day‑to‑day with other engineers, designers, and PM to plan, design, build, and ship high quality software.

Designing and implementing reliable web applications and APIs independently

• Writing high quality and testable code with quality test coverage and reviewing the work of your peers
• Participating in architecture and technical decisions with strong critical thinking
• Using software engineering pipeline tools (CI/CD, unit testing, manual testing, etc.)
• Researching and developing new technologies and developing proofs of concept

• BS/MS CS/CE or equivalent experience

Monks may pay for the position at the time of posting. Monks may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on job‑related factors, but not based on a candidate’s sex or any other protected status.

This role is subject to our Return to Office (RTO) policy. If you reside within a commutable distance of one of our office locations, you will be expected to work from the office a set number of days per week. The specific details, including the number of required office days, will be in accordance with the company’s then‑current RTO policy, which is subject to change from time to time.
