IOS Engineer - Generative AI Software

As a member of the team, you’ll have the opportunity to work with a small team of highly skilled engineers to bring new, Generative‑AI enabled experiences to Apple products. This position requires a self‑motivated engineer with strong technical and interpersonal skills to handle responsibilities including:

• Expanding iOS-based platforms to bring new Generative AI-enabled experiences to life
• Prototyping ideas to support feature definition and iteration
• Communicating ideas to the Apple Design Team and other cross‑functional partners
• Participating in architecture discussions and code review
• Building internal tools to ship and maintain high quality software

• 3+ years of iOS Development experience including experience with Swift and Apple development tools
• Strong grasp of Computer Science fundamentals
• Ability to break down large features and implement practical solutions
• Curiosity about new technologies, flexibility and openness to ambiguity
• B.S. Computer Science or equivalent experience required

• The following skills are not required, but one or more of these areas would be valuable:
• Familiarity with AI principles or experience with developing software with large language models.
• Track record of working cross‑functionally and building strong partnerships amongst teams and individuals.

At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $147,400 and $272,100, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
