The Islamic Society of Akron and Kent (ISAK) Sunday School is seeking a dedicated and visionary Principal to lead the institution with excellence, passion, and integrity. ISAK, 152 E Steels Corners Rd, Cuyahoga Falls, OH
🕐 Time Commitment:
Primarily Sundays during school hours, with occasional weekday planning and communication

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the chief administrator of ISAK Sunday School, ensuring alignment with the school’s mission
• Oversee staff management, including teacher appointments, scheduling, and curriculum implementation
• Develop and implement extra‑curricular programs that enrich student learning
• Manage school supplies to facilitate smooth operations
• Conduct regular evaluations of school staff to implement established performance benchmarks and drive continuous improvements
• Communicate with the ISAK Sunday School Governing Board regularly about the needs, successes and general operation of the school
• Submit monthly financial reports detailing cash inflows and outflows
• Mediate and resolve conflicts that require principal‑level intervention
• Track and submit staff work hours for payroll processing through ISAK
• Maintain comprehensive staff, student, and financial records

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Character:
  Reflecting Islamic values with high ethical and moral standards
• Education:
  
  Minimum Bachelor’s degree required (preferably in Education)
• Leadership & Communication:
  Strong organizational and interpersonal skills; ability to inspire and manage a team
• Language Proficiency:
  Fluency in English;
  Arabic proficiency is a plus
• Commitment to Islamic
  
  Education:
  
  Passion for fostering a nurturing and faith‑centered learning environment; experience working with young Muslims is preferred
• Flexibility & Dedication:
  Willingness to fulfill responsibilities beyond standard school hours
• Comfortable with basic technology
• Reports directly to the ISAK Sunday School Governing Board
