OverviewThe Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food product demonstrations, acquiring and maintaining knowledge of represented products, preparing, serving, and breaking down product, equipment, and supplies. The Associate intercepts consumers, demonstrates products in a professional manner, and maintains an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Responsibilities- Acquire and maintain knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell products to consumers in a positive manner.
- Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
- Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.
- Set up and prepare event tables for execution.
- Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
- Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per company policy.
- Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
- Use the internet, navigate the company’s electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents (Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF).
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in using personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
- Local food handlers permit may be required.
- Ability to stand, walk, reach up to 65 inches overhead, lift up to 25–50 lbs, push a wheeled cart, and handle cleaning supplies.
- Strong communication skills in English; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
- Capacity to work 25 hours per week (subject to change based on business needs).
Typical duties include standing and walking for the entire shift; using hands and fingers; reaching overhead; talking and hearing; visual ability to read instructions; stooping, kneeling, squatting, climbing or stepping up a ladder; balancing; lifting up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds); pushing/pulling a wheeled demonstration cart; preparing foods and beverages using required appliances; and handling cleaning supplies.
