The Lead Application Analyst is responsible for participating in the efficient installation and support of Western Reserve’s information technology applications, including: software upgrades, day to day operational support (24/7), testing, and installation of clinical and business Information technology systems. The Lead Application Analyst will work closely with end users in all designated departments to understand current business operations, workflow change, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the business operations.

Collaborative, effective interaction with vendors, Department Directors, Physicians and Executives is essential.

Education and Training

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or closely related field required. Additional experience may substitute for education requirement. Certification may be substituted in lieu of education.

Experience

• Three (3) years of experience in application implementation and support to include experience with multiple application implementations in a hospital setting.

• Position requires skill in application and management of work process re-engineering techniques
• Project management skills in effectively identifying, clarifying, resolving and initiating solutions to maintain project timelines and deadlines.
• Assumes accountability with users for assigned projects and demonstrates the ability to work with others on projects.
• Ability to respond quickly under pressure when problems arise with any system or application
• Strong analytical ability
