Chapel Hill Church in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio is seeking a Youth Pastor.

Chapel Hill Church is a multigenerational church whose mission is to help people better Love Jesus, Grow Together, and Reach the World. As we have been fulfilling this mission, we have been experiencing steady growth. We are seeking a passionate and creative pastor that can help advance our mission by further developing and growing our youth ministry. The Youth Pastor provides vision and direction for our youth ministry along with serving the body of Christ as a whole.

• Give vision, direction, and oversight to the youth ministry
• Plan, execute, and run youth ministry events and programs
• Create a family-like atmosphere with adult leaders of the youth ministry team
• Connect and develop relationships with people at Chapel Hill Church and in the community
• Oversee the worship ministry (no musical gifting required)

• Deeply loves Jesus and people
• Passionate about helping students love Jesus
• Ability to effectively communicate God’s word
• Ability to work collaboratively with other team members
• Experience leading or helping lead a youth ministry
• Highly relational
• Entrepreneurial in nature
• Bachelor’s degree in biblical studies, theology, or a related field preferred
• Licensed or willing to become licensed in the Christian & Missionary Alliance

Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, located just north of Akron and about 30 minutes south of Cleveland, is a city known for its natural beauty and family-friendly atmosphere. The downtown, which is right on the river, has dozens of restaurants and stores along with regular events that attract thousands of people. The area has a perfect blend of walkable urban neighborhoods and quiet suburban homes.

The city is an outdoor enthusiast’s dream as it is located next to Cuyahoga Valley National Park which sees close to 3 million visitors a year.
