Operations Manager
We are looking for Warehouse Supervisor to join our Operations Team department at the Cuyahoga Falls, OH location. This position maintains inventory and supplies by receiving, storing and delivering items, securing warehouse and supervising staff.
Responsibilities- Accomplish warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching and disciplining employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, appraising job contributions, recommending compensation actions and adhering to policies and procedures.
- Meet warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews, implementing production, productivity, quality and customer service standards, resolving problems and identifying warehouse system improvements.
- Meet warehouse financial standards by providing annual budget information, monitoring expenditures, identifying variances and implementing corrective action.
- Move inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from warehouse and coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
- Deliver supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.
- Maintain storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles and recommending improvements.
- Maintain inventory by conducting monthly physical counts, reconciling variances and inputting data.
- Keep equipment operating by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, requiring preventative maintenance and calling for repairs.
- Update job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
- Accomplish warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed.

Qualifications- Bachelor’s degree in a related business or technical field or equivalent of education and experience
- 5+ years of manufacturing warehouse experience
- Previous supervisory experience required
- Good problem solving, decision making, time management and organizational skills
- Know all functions of the equipment including its capabilities and limitations
- Computer and math skills including SAP, Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook and Power Point
- Basic written and oral communication skills
- Ability to make common sense decisions
While performing the duties of this job, the employee works in primarily a plant environment. The noise level in the work environment is quiet to moderate. This is a full‑time salary exempt position requiring at least 40 hours per week, with hours of work and days scheduled determined by the Manufacturing Manager. Special circumstances such as off shift and weekend work will occur on an as needed basis.
This position requires minimal travel.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is primarily standing for prolonged periods of time. Sitting, walking or bending will occur from time to time. Prolonged periods of concentration and focus are required along with adequate interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with stress of time constraints. The employee is required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel objects;
reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. This position requires regular and consistent attendance at the facility.
