Part-Time Accounts Assistant
Location: Cwmbran
Hours: Part-time, 30 hours per week, 9:00/9:30am - 3:00pm
Salary: £24,000 - £26,000 FTE, pro rata
Are you looking for a part-time opportunity that fits around school drop-off and pick-up?
We are working with a business in Cwmbran that is looking to appoint a Part-Time Accounts Assistant to join its team. This role would suit someone looking for a school-hours position, with some flexibility around the start time.
Full training will be provided
, so previous accounts experience is not essential. Experience with in an accounts or administration environment would be desirable, alongside a willingness to learn and develop within the role.
- Processing purchase and sales invoices
- Processing supplier payments
- Bank reconciliations
- Assisting with credit control and customer accounts
- Maintaining accurate financial records
- Dealing with customer and supplier queries
- Assisting with month‑end procedures
- General accounts and administration duties
- Supporting the wider team as required
- Previous experience within accounts or administration is desirable
- Good attention to detail and organisation
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- A willingness to learn new systems and processes
- Reliable and able to work independently
- Looking for a part-time role around other commitments
This is a genuine 30‑hour‑per‑week, school‑hours position based in Cwmbran.
The role will typically be 9:00am or 9:30am until 3:00pm
