Role OverviewAs a Customer Hub Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents, handling a wide range of enquiries with empathy and professionalism. You’ll support services related to housing, repairs, rent, and anti-social behaviour, while helping to shape a responsive and inclusive customer experience.
Key Responsibilities- Resolve customer enquiries at first contact with outstanding service
- Handle sensitive issues including rent, repairs, and anti-social behaviour
- Negotiate and establish payment plans for rent arrears
- Support service improvements and business goals
- Engage actively with Bron Afon members and community forums
- Ensure services remain open, inclusive, and democratic
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for helping others and making a positive impact
- Ability to work proactively and collaboratively
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
- Experience in housing, repairs, or customer service
- Knowledge of community engagement practices
