Role Overview

As a Customer Hub Assistant, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents, handling a wide range of enquiries with empathy and professionalism. You’ll support services related to housing, repairs, rent, and anti-social behaviour, while helping to shape a responsive and inclusive customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Resolve customer enquiries at first contact with outstanding service
  • Handle sensitive issues including rent, repairs, and anti-social behaviour
  • Negotiate and establish payment plans for rent arrears
  • Support service improvements and business goals
  • Engage actively with Bron Afon members and community forums
  • Ensure services remain open, inclusive, and democratic
Required Skills and Experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passion for helping others and making a positive impact
  • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion
  • Experience in housing, repairs, or customer service
