Success Coach – School of Art and Care
Job OverviewWe are looking for a Success Coach to support learners to reach their potential. The postholder will work closely with teaching staff to induct learners to the college and provide pastoral guidance and support to the learners throughout their journey so that they excel academically.
ResponsibilitiesSupport and proactively monitor targets for a caseload of learners in a pastoral role, setting targets to ensure high attendance levels, good punctuality, academic progress and positive attitudes towards learning.
Refer to and ensure that Independent Development Plans (IDPs) and additional support needs are secured and monitored.
QualificationsThe ability to use the Welsh language at a basic level (or willingness to undertake training) is desirable. Applicants may apply in Welsh and will not be treated less favourably than applications submitted in English.
Employment is subject to a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service and registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) if appropriate. Successful candidates will be expected to pay for the Enhanced Disclosure and registration with the Education Workforce Council.
