ASD Specialist Teaching Assistant

Pay: £95-£105 per day (depending on experience)

• Supporting students with SEMH/BESD to engage in learning and manage behaviour
• Assisting in de‑escalation using positive behaviour strategies
• Working collaboratively with teaching staff and SENCOs
• Providing consistent emotional and behavioural support throughout the day

• Experience working with SEMH/BESD in schools, alternative provision, or youth settings
• Confident in de‑escalation and positive behaviour support strategies
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
  
  Strong communication skills, patience, and resilience

• Trauma‑informed practice understanding
• Experience supporting EHCP implementation
• Knowledge of safeguarding practices
• Team Teach or PBLM (Positive Behaviour Management Level 1/2) trained

• Consistent, full‑time work for the rest of the academic year
