Primary Teaching Assistant | SEN Support | Full-Time Role

Are you a dedicated and compassionate individual passionate about supporting children’s education and development? An established provider of primary education is seeking a motivated Primary Teaching Assistant to join a supportive team in a primary school located in South East England. This is an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on young learners, particularly within the special educational needs (SEN) sector.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high-quality classroom support to pupils, ensuring a positive and inclusive learning environment

* Work closely with the class teacher to deliver tailored support that meets individual pupil needs

* Assist in the planning and implementation of learning activities and classroom routines

* Support students with SEN to promote their social and academic development

* Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and well-organised classroom environment

* Support the inclusion of all pupils, fostering independence and confidence

* Undertake personal care responsibilities as required

Candidate Requirements

* Previous experience working with children, ideally within a primary or SEN setting

* Strong communication and team working skills

* Competent with personal care

* A caring, patient, and proactive attitude

* Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo one

* Flexibility to work full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 3:30 pm
