Programme Purchaser

Job Summary

The Programme Purchaser will perform and contribute to the Integrated Programme Team(s) as assigned and will effectively drive the tracking and coordination of the Purchased material requirements on behalf of the Programme Purchasing Team.

• Responsible for creating and maintaining Management Information Health Reports on programme purchasing status for distribution to the IPT & Exec Team.
• To represent the Purchasing Department and promote the Programme Purchasing processes within the programme.
• To represent the programme within the Purchasing Department Knowledge, Experience, Training and Qualifications.

• Able to demonstrate technical understanding and enthusiasm to deliver into the programme.
• Proven delivery of procurement strategies. (Essential)
• Project / Programme management experience. (Essential)
• Management of cross-functional teams. (Essential)
• To effectively use MRP & Baan to support the introduction of new products into a Programme. (Essential)
• Ensuring attainment of the objective cost of the Purchased part by referring to all stakeholders in the Purchasing Department. (Essential)

• Excellent oral & written communication skills. (Essential)
• Able to develop & maintain effective working relationships within the PPT & IPT structure. (Essential)
• Able to organise, prioritise and influence. (Essential)
• Self-reliant, hardworking, proactive & self‑motivated. (Essential)
