The MRO Supplier Coordinator is responsible for managing the end-to-end flow of outsourced repair activities across Safran Seats' approved MRO supply base. The role ensures repair orders are placed, monitored and delivered in line with customer commitments, contractual requirements, quality standards and operational performance objectives. Working within a multidisciplinary MRO environment, the postholder acts as the primary operational interface with external repair suppliers, driving supplier performance, resolving issues, coordinating logistics activities and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

The role is critical to maintaining on‑time delivery, customer satisfaction and overall MRO shop performance.

Key Responsibilities:

Supplier Management
  • Raise and manage repair orders with approved external MRO suppliers.
  • Build effective working relationships with suppliers and act as the primary day‑to‑day operational contact.
  • Monitor supplier commitments and proactively manage delivery schedules.
  • Conduct regular supplier review meetings, document actions and ensure timely closure of agreed actions.
Operational Coordination
  • Coordinate the shipment and return of components requiring external repair.
  • Ensure all repair activities progress in accordance with customer and operational requirements.
  • Prioritise workload and manage changing business demands effectively.
  • Identify potential supply chain constraints and implement corrective actions to minimise disruption.
Commercial & Contractual Management
  • Review supplier quotations for accuracy, commercial reasonableness and contractual compliance.

Experience (Requirements)
  • Experience in supplier management, customer service, logistics or supply chain operations.
  • Knowledge of supplier performance management and KPI monitoring.
  • Understanding of repair order processes and supply chain coordination.
  • Experience using ERP systems (M3 preferred).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Teams.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Desirable
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Purchasing or related discipline.
  • Experience working within an international business environment.
  • Aerospace, aviation or MRO industry experience.
