Are you a Buyer from a manufacturing background looking to join an established business where you will work with a broad supplier base, influence purchasing decisions, develop your procurement expertise, and have clear opportunities for progression?

This established specialist manufacturer provides monitoring and telemetry solutions for clean water and wastewater networks, supplying customers across the UK and international markets. Established in 1970's, the business designs and manufactures a range of specialist technology used to monitor and manage critical water infrastructure, helping customers improve network efficiency, reduce water loss and maintain reliable services.

In this role, you will manage the procurement of direct and indirect goods and services, taking ownership of sourcing, supplier management, negotiation and contract management through to delivery. You will work closely with internal departments and suppliers to identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor supplier performance, manage risk and improve procurement processes. You will also use advanced Excel and data analysis to monitor spend, benchmark costs and support commercial decision-making across the business.
