Contract Details
This is a fixed‑term contract up to 24 months, with the potential for a permanent contract.
Working 37.5 hours per week on a weekly rotating shift pattern of:
- Mornings:
Monday to Friday 6:45 am – 2:45 pm - Afternoons:
Monday to Friday 3:00 pm – 11:00 pm

- Ensuring Safety:
Report hazards and incidents promptly to maintain a safe working environment. - Promoting Health Standards:
Use personal protective equipment and adhere to HSE standards to protect yourself and colleagues. - Enhancing Quality:
Follow quality procedures and perform inspections to ensure high‑quality products. - Reducing Costs:
Identify and control non‑conforming materials to minimize waste and production costs. - Meeting Production Goals:
Operate equipment efficiently and achieve production targets to contribute to overall success. - Maintaining Cleanliness:
Keep your work area clean and perform routine maintenance for smooth operations. - Collaborating Effectively:
Communicate with your team and support staff to foster a cooperative work environment. - Continuous Improvement:
Engage in training and participate in improvement initiatives to enhance processes and personal development.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Accountability:
Meet commitments and ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time. - Health and Safety Fundamentals:
Champion proactive safety behaviors, identify and report hazards, and participate in actions to improve workplace safety. - Manufacturing Knowledge:
Demonstrate a solid understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and applications, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. - Attention to Detail:
Follow procedures meticulously, quickly identify and address quality issues, and minimize downtime. - Experience operating any PIV is helpful; training will be provided.
- Time Keeping:
Deliver material in a timely manner, minimizing downtime and keeping the production line running smoothly. - Safety Awareness:
Understand safety protocols and best practices to maintain a safe working environment. - Teamwork and Communication:
Collaborate effectively within the Materials team and across departments, communicating clearly about processes, issues, and safety concerns. - PIV (Powered Industrial Vehicle) Experience.
